I know I have but fall is arriving and it's time to get back into it! Get your photos out of shoeboxes, catch up on albums, get those digital shots off the computer before it crashes and you lose everything and get out to The Scrapbook Room.

Okay....everyone...cropping Saturday night at the shop (August 15th) beginning at 7 pm.

That is the question....because there is some interest in a crop Saturday night so if I have a few takers, I am thinking a fun impromptu end of summer crop complete with some great "girls night out" music to scrap to....and bring your own beverages (beyond coffee/tea)....with a cost of $5.00 and maybe some sales....who knows....so do let me know your intentions and I'll confirm as soon as I get back from the Soo....this afternoon (Friday)....

Summer is flying by...I need to apologize for the lack of posts on this blog.

I've just sent out an email about a few things so do check your email for that....if you don't get email, let me know and I'll repost here or send you the email!
I'm just thinking about all the things I want to scrapbook and all the ideas I have. I can't believe how passionate I am about this hobby and just wish I could devote more time to it. My question to YOU is, are you devoting any time to scrapbooking? Has it fizzled out for you? What makes it difficult? What could make it easier? Do tell all....post a comment in the comment section below this post and I'll be drawing a name from all those who comment for a nice little prize pack! So do it now!
You've probably heard me mention the 25 Things album idea (25 random things about me was a silly little facebook application that was going around). Here's some pages from my daughter's 25 Things that I nabbed because they were so photo worthy. Why not hand a pen to someone and have them do 25 things for you or you could just do a family book of 5 things about each person etc. Share your ideas of what you could do (below of course!)....
And here's those sample pages for you....
The album started from a round scalloped album with acrylic, felt and chipboard pages. I've added some small square scalloped pages and some arrow pages to make enough for my 25 things. I actually mapped the pages out slightly. I am using a paper pack from Heidi Grace for the pages along with some coordinating Bazzill cardstocks and I'll go back and do a whack more embellishing once I'm done. The album will be lumpy and bumpy and fun!
Here's two of the inside pages...
So that's that. What are you doing fun these days?

I so love mini books and now that I'm at #20 in Court's 25 Things book, it's time for more ideas.
I found one at Two Peas...It also allows me to make a commitment to read some books. I have SO many books around here waiting to be read. My book may not be just a summer reading journal but just an ongoing one. Here's the link directly to the class PDF.
I'll post a photo of my book when it's done. You could send me yours too.
Let me know what you're reading or plan to read and we can see if we have any books the same. Gee we could start a scrapbook room book club! Ha!
See ya soon,
¬Pauline

Hey all....
It's the END of June. School is out. Life is flying by. Where does the time go? I am ashamed at how long it's been since I've posted.
Already, it's time for another Pizza Crop...that's tonight from 6 to midnight. Cost is $10.00 plus if you spend $10.00 or more on product...you will get $5.00 off the admission cost. Is that a deal or what?
I am ashamed to say I missed 12. That's right. The 12th of June flew on by me virtually unnoticed. It was the day before I went away for 10 days and life was pretty hectic. Is that an excuse? Anyway, I just got a brand new Canon Rebel camera so I think I will try do the last day of June with it and still get my 12 photos. What do you think? That's the first 12 I missed this year! Here's a peek at my camera...I haven't begun to figure it out yet but intend to do so very soon.
Also, although I am not getting copies of Scrapbooks and Cards Today magazine, you can still download complete issues at www.scrapbooksandcards.com . The current issue (released yesterday) has an article about scrapbooking everyday stuff and talks about scrapbooking 25 things from a Facebook application they had. Well guess what? A couple of us at the shop thought of that a couple of months ago! I am currently working on a 25 Things mini book --stop into the Pizza Crop if you'd like to see my work in progress.
Anyway, just goes to show that we are definitely up on what is in! Are you "in" to your scrapbooks? It's time to dedicate time just for you and your books. Make it a priority. It is important. (And fun too!)
So remember The Scrapbook Room is always open to visitors during Pizza Crops....come visit, have coffee, see what's happening, shop or just browse! All are welcome.
And don't forget Wednesday scrapbooking continues beginning at 7 pm Wednesdays. (Wednesdays may be cancelled in July if response is low.)
So....anyway....see you soon?

Well ladies...I hate to cancel crops but here's the deal....
I am going to cancel the RELAY CROP slated for Friday, June 12th.
I had hoped for more signups by now and I just can't warrant it with just a small number.
At any rate, I apologize for that. To make up for it, anyone who crops Wednesday night....the fees will go the Relay for Life....as well 25 % of Wednesday sales will go to the Relay.
Please NOTE the Silent Auction will be ending on Wednesday evening (June 10th)
See you then?
~Pauline
PS Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who supported our Yard Sale in any way! It was a HUGE success and with it and the Silent Auction we expect to have raised well over $900 towards our team's goal of $5000. Go RACK PACK team, Go!
